JUST SOME THOUGHTS

*      Things of Spirit are spiritually discerned; therefore, you must not be in the flesh to minister the Word, or in the flesh and expect to learn something being presented.

*      Be a person of the Word:  If the Word says it, make it your practice, expectation, vision, etc.

*      You can step into another reality – almost instantly.

*      We as individuals are at all levels of maturing/maturity.  We need to accept that we are immature in some areas.  We need to accept that others are immature in some areas.

*      Do not let your vision die.

*      The devil was condemned to consume dust.  We are dust (flesh) in two ways: Sometimes, spiritually we walk in the flesh, and we are made of flesh (dust).  This is why on the cross Jesus died for both our sins, AND by his wounds we have been healed.

*      Decisions are one of the biggest helps in receiving deliverance or growth in the Lord.

*      Faith is not based on feelings.

*      Love is not based on, or dependent on, feelings.

*      Deliverance (I.e. casting away demons, or making vows) should not be entered into lightly.

*      Who is building the house?  You, or the Lord?

*      Careful what comes out of your mouth, because you and those who hear it, will need to live with it; and, it might have released demonic activity.

*      Where is your first love?  “From the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.”

*      Align your expectations/faith on the revealed Word of God, not on what is natural.  I.e. I “need” my morning coffee.  I.e. Healing is for everyone, except if you are getting old as you should expect falling apart.

*      We can “get” things from our own mind/flesh, the devil, and the Lord.  We need to be willing to admit that what we “received from the Lord” might not have been “received” from the Lord.

*      If God tells you to do something or go somewhere, it may be only for a season.  You may need to move on someday.

*      God can put us on a path; give us a vision for the future, even though He knows we will never get there and fulfill the vision (I.e. We may die in an auto crash.)

*      Praying in tongues is not “praying in the Spirit.”  (We believe in praying in tongues.)

*      You do not need to yell your prayers to God, He is not deaf.

*      What is your motive?

*      Do not ever try to fulfill someone’s prophetic word for you.

*      Most things are motivated by pride or fear.

*      Just because many people validate a ministry does not mean the ministry is from, or of, God.  Signs, wonders, and prophecies do not mean the ministry is from, or of, God.  Matt 7:21-23

*      “Vision by faith.”  Faith opens up possibilities that are lacking if no faith is present.

*      Worship, pray, fellowship with the Lord, and preach/minister, etc. in the Spirit/from the heart – not only with the head and mouth.

*      Distractions – get rid of them; flee from them.

*      Our freedom should beget freedom in others: Do not let other’s bondage put you into bondage.

*      Battle not going so well?  Rest awhile!

*      Do not focus on our own boxes/immaturities.  Practice self-acceptance.  Believe God for molding you.  (“It is He that works in us to both will and do His good pleasure.”)

*      Love believes all things (Good Things).  Therefore, give people the benefit of the doubt, unless God tells you otherwise:  “Know no man after the flesh”; Paul said he did not even judge himself.

*      When judging someone or something, DO YOU KNOW that they are wrong?  Do you KNOW they are not led of the Lord?  If not, do not judge.

*      Do not ever assume you KNOW another’s motive.

*      God is not limited to, or dwelling in time:  God is everywhere present.  He is as much with Moses right now as He is with you.  (If you believe this, think on the ramifications.  It might change the way you relate to prayer.)

*      Healing prayer can be effective even though we do not see immediate results.

*      You can step into the Spirit anytime.  “Step into the anointing.”  Change your reality as needed.

*      Worship can be as simple as “I love you Lord” (Said, but being an expression from the heart).  It does not need to be singing, etc.

*      Singing “about” the Lord, or the “things” of the Lord, is not worship.

*      Testifying is much more effective if it comes from the heart.

*      Witnessing is much more effective if it comes in the form of a testimony.

*      If you are wondering why you are going through certain thoughts, desires, impulses, etc. that you know are not what the Lord would have you have, and you know are not ‘your normal self’, you are probably in warfare.

*      Ditches are a fact of life for the Christian.  Just get back onto the path.  Always adjust the course you are on.  For your whole life, you will be maturing/growing in the Lord, as He molds you into His image.

*      Be careful about telling everyone your past bondages.  Because many/some will always relate you with those past happenings.  I.e. Prostitution, being in prison, witchcraft, etc.

*      Get the Word in your heart so you will always have the Bible with you.

*      People in the world are going to do things people in the world do.  Do not be surprised by their words or actions.

*      People have boxes (quirks, problems).  Do not know them by their boxes.

*      In your church, do not correct people.  The leadership is responsible for dealing with problems – not you.

*      Do not be a “groupie” or a respecter of persons.  (Have you ever wondered why the boss or pastor gets the birthday cards, cake, etc., when it is rare that underlings receive the same attention/treatment?)

*      Spirit-filled people are usually already aware of their character flaws or sins.

*      Praying from emotions can potentially hinder our prayers.  God wants us to be people of peace.  When at peace, our prayers can be much more effective.

*      Our job is to maintain the ship.

*      We are not our circumstances.  We are not our physical selves.

*      Most of us are not exceptional, really talented, or supreme in any area.  Some may be in an area, but are not in all or most areas.  Allow others to have their talents without you feeling “less than.”

*      “Hobby horses” – flee from them – no matter how “important” the doctrine or issue is.

*      Doctrinal differences should not be a wedge between us as members of Christ’s body.

*      You can have testimonies of what God has done in the past, but you should have testimonies that are fresh.  I.e. Your walk with the Lord should provide testimonies of what Jesus is doing in your life RECENTLY.

*      Be professional.  God would want you to become refined and taught by Him (language, attire, actions, etc.) before He puts you before others.  Allow, and be happy for the times on “the back side of the desert,” or being “put on the shelf.”

*      An atrophied part of our spiritual life can take time to become strong again.  Strive to strengthen the areas that should be strong.

*      A little open door to the enemy, a little compromise, can take a long time (sometimes a lifetime) to undo.

*      God speaking: “Did I take care of you yesterday?  Am I taking care of you today?  Then what are you worried about tomorrow for?”

*      You should not be mad at the sick for being sick. (Spiritually sick, physically sick, emotionally sick, immaturity sick, mentally sick, etc.)

*      LUKE 12:15 – possessions not “us”

*      LUKE 12:4 – our bodies/health are not “us”

*      LUKE 12:23, 29-30 - life is more than food, clothing, etc.
