In an instant,
in the twinkling of an eye!
2002 Hyundai
No “aid” anywhere near.
It was a high speed head-on collision. The oncoming truck driver said he came into
our lane to avoid a bear entering the road.
The truck driver was okay. His truck
ended upside down, down a bank, in a shallow part of the adjoining river.
The truck driver had the required-by-law minimum amount of
insurance. His $25,000 (each) insurance
was quickly exhausted.
There was no money to replace our new car. The insurance paid off “most” of our car
loan. Friends gave us a wonderful van.
(The large
spring in the engine area is from the truck that hit us.)
How do we feel about it now? Blessed to be alive and still with each
other. Thankful we know
